9 out 12 Royal bus service road traffic accident victims discharged; Amb. Mwamba says

NINE out of the twelve bus accident victims have been discharged from hospital.Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa His Excellency Emmanuel Mwamba confirmed the development.On 17th September 2018, eleven (11) people died in a Royal Africa bus accident in Mokopane near Limpopo, in South Africa.The bus was carrying 50 passengers and 5 crew members.Those that are still in the hospital are;Carol Sakala – Sunshine hospital in Johannesburg.Viet Moonga – Sunshine hospitalRayford Bulaya (crew) – Posloo  Netcare Hospital  Polokwane.Those that were discharged have since gone back to Zambia together with their relatives and include;Mr. David SambindaMrs. Faith Bwalya took a flight to Ndola.Mrs. Daphine Luhanga flew to Lusaka.Mrs Brenda Moonga took a flight to Ndola.Miss Mirriam Muwowo also took a flight to Ndola.Mr Davies Upeme  went to Lusaka.Obed Mulenga  went to KitweMiss Eunice Mwenya went to KitweUCZ Bishop from Luapula, Rev. Roy Sinkala was discharged but he is still in Johannesburg until after his second medical review.Mr. Harry Phiri has been discharged but he is with the family in Johannesburg.Mr. Mwamba said his office was working closely with Royal Bus Service and the South African Road Accident Fund to resolve issues of compensation for the bus accident victims.
