5M KWACHA READY FOR MSUZI BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

Government has released five million Kwacha for the placement of a bailey bridge following the wash away of Msuzi Bridge on the Chipata-Lundazi road.
Eastern Province Permanent Secretary, Chanda Kasolo says the funds which were released upon a Presidential directive will be used to transport components of a 60-meter bailey bridge.
Mr. Kasolo says all logistics are in place for the mounting of the bridge whose works are expected to be completed within one week.
He says components of the Bailey bridge have already arrived at the site and that officers from Zambia Army, Zambia National Service and Road Development Agency have started laying ground works for the mounting of the provisional bridge.
