50 UPND Members Defect To PF

Over 50 Members of the United Party for National Development -UPND- in Mungwi district have defected from the opposition political party to  join the ruling Patriotic Front.The defectors who were lead by UPND Chimba Ward Youth Secretary Fabian Chanda says they have decided to join the ruling PF because of the massive development the ruling party has delivered across the nation.Mr. Chanda says the UPND leaders have no vision for this nation but full of confusion which can bring division among Zambians.He encouraged all  Zambians to rally behind the leadership of President Edgar Lungu and  the Patriotic Front government because they have demonstrated good leadership.And Malole Member of Parliament Christopher Yaluma has welcomed the defectors who has joined the PF party.He said the PF party is a pro poor party which wants to deliver development to all the people in the country.Mr. Yaluma has told all those who have join the party to respect the people they have found in positions as their joining is not to come and take over positions in the party.He advised all those who have remained in the opposition parties in Mungwi to come and join the ruling PF as it continues to deliver development to the nation.But,  United Party for National Development -UPND- Spokesperson Charles Kakoma said that anyone is free to join the party of their choice.Mr Kakoma said the UPND has also received alot of members from the PF in various parts of the country.
