4 UPND CARDRES NABBED FOR DAMAGING PF VEHICLE

Police in Luwingu district – Northern Province have arrested four suspected UPND cadres for allegedly damaging a vehicle belonging to the Patriotic Front.
Northern Province Police Commissioner Richard Mweene confirmed the development to ZANIS in Luwingu today.
Mr. Mweene named the four as UPND district chairperson Simon Kalebwe 42 , Kennedy Katuta 43, Kapya Katumbili 43 and Geoffrey Mulenga 25.
He said the four together with other persons unknown attacked the Patriotic Front cadres who were campaigning in Nsombo village in Chief Chabula area.
Mr. Mweene has appealed to cadres from both ruling and opposition to learn to solve problems amicably rather than fighting.
He said the suspects are remanded in custody awaiting court proceedings.
