ABSA Cup final set for Heroes Stadium 

The 2024 ABSA Cup final will take place at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed. 

FAZ President Andrew Kamanga in his weekly update, The President’s corner confirmed the development. 

And like is tradition with the ABSA Cup, the republican President, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema will be the Guest of Honor. 

“An Absolutely warm welcome to this week’s interaction from Kitwe. We just concluded an exciting 2024 ABSA Cup semi final weekend that saw Kabwe Warriors and Red Arrows set up a mouthwatering final this weekend at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka. The final has the FAZ patron, President Hakainde Hichilema as the chief guest which adds to the excitement of the 2024 edition.”

Incoming MTN Super League Champions, Red Arrows will be aiming to complete a league and Cup double when they take on Kabwe Warriors in the final. 

The Airmen recorded a  2-1 win over Nchanga Rangers to book a place in the final while Kabwe Warriors edged FC MUZA 2-1. 

The winner of this year’s ABSA Cup will pocket K800,000, with K350,000 reserved for second place.

The ABSA Life Player of the Tournament, Top Scorer, and Golden Glove will each get K25,000.
