By Moombe Hamobola

Livingstone University Teaching Hospital Anti-Gender Based Violence-GBV One Stop Centre says infidelity and money related issues are the causes of  fights in many marriages.

Anti-GBV Coordinator DERRICK SIALONDWE says failure by couples to agree on how to spend money causes misunderstandings and sometimes ends in fights.
Anti-GBV Coordinator DERRICK SIALONDWE has told ZNBC news the center recorded 379 cases of GBV from January to March this year compared to 259  cases in the same period last year.
Meanwhile Mr SIALONDWE says the centre has recorded a reduction in the number of teen pregnancies in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year.

Mr SIALONDWE has told ZNBC news the center recorded 28 teen pregnancies in the first quarter of 2024 compared to 42  in the same period last year.

He attributed the reduction of early pregnancy cases to heightened sensitization programs in schools where a number of pupils have been trained as peer educators.
