Luangwa, Rufunsa, Chongwe Roads to be rehabilitated at K168m

About 168 million Kwacha has been allocated for road works in three districts of Lusaka Province under the Improved Rural Connectivity Project (IRCP).

National Project Coordinator MWATA SEKESEKE disclosed that the works are expected to commence in Luangwa, Rufunsa and Chongwe districts immediately after the rainy season.

Mr SEKESEKE said this when he led a team from the IRCP to pay a courtesy call on Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary, ROBERT KAMALATA at his office in Lusaka today.

And Mr. KAMALATA has warned that the government will not tolerate substandard works from contractors.

He said shoddy works by some contractors cost the government money and time.
