Security tightened as Licensure Examinations start

(ZANIS) The Health Professions Council of Zambia -HPCZ- has enhanced security as Licensure Examinations start.

HPCZ Public Relations Manager, TERRY MUSONDA says this is meant to avoid a repeat of malpractices recorded last year.

Mr MUSONDA has said so far no reports have been recorded from the ongoing Licensure Examinations, which started on Monday, February 26, 2024.

He has noted that lessons were learnt from the previous incidents and the system has since been tightened.

Speaking in an interview with ZANIS, Mr MUSONDA has disclosed that with over 4000 candidates undertaking the examination, assurance has been given that going forward, the procedure remains incidence free.

Meanwhile, Mr MUSONDA has disclosed that the examinations are being conducted in Lusaka and on the Copperbelt.
