ZAMBIA WINS FOUR GOLD MEDALS

Zambia has won 4 gold medals at Africa’s Strongest Strongman games held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Team Zambia also bagged 3 silver and 3 bronze medals at the same competition held from 26th to 28th November 2022.

Those that won gold are Zambia women’s Champion CHERRY MUCHINDU, NICOLE MOYO, GIFT HABEENZU and MASILISO NKONDE.

And Zambia Strongman Federation President PATTERSON MUZONDIWA says the victory shows that Zambia is a big competitor in sports and is no longer underrated.

Speaking after the team’s win in South Africa, MUZONDIWA said a lot of preparation was put in place and the athletes knew what was required of them.

Meanwhile, MOYO and MUCHINDU said with hard work, Zambian sportsmen and women can continue winning a lot more trophies for the country.

And HABEENZU thanked Zambians for supporting the team throughout the competition.
