HH respects High Court ruling

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says the High Court’s ruling to stay the Kabushi and Kwacha Parliamentary by elections is normal and should not raise any eyebrows.
And President HICHILEMA has called for amendment of the Constitution to deal with issues that instigate by-elections to save on national resources.
Speaking at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport when he concluded his five day working visit on the Copperbelt, President HICHILEMA said the high Court ruling is a clear indication that law and order has been restored under the new dawn administration.
The President has further called on UPND members to remain calm adding that elections will still be held in the two Constituencies.
Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA has called for the prosecution of individuals behind the allocation of plots at Kasompe Airstrip in Chingola.
The Head of State said the demolition of structures is regrettable adding that building of structures on land belonging to the Civil Aviation Authority should never be allowed in future.
