HH CALLS ON ZAMBIANS TO ABHOR CORRUPTION

President Hakainde Hichilema has called on all Zambians to detest corruption.

President Hichilema says Corruption takes away resources from those in need such as vulnerable children, the sick and the aged.

He has also stressed that Public office is not for self -aggrandizement, but for service to the people.

President Hichilema says there is need for everyone to restore integrity in the country.

The Head of State was speaking in an exclusive interview with the Vatican radio and made available to ZNBC News.

And President Hichilema stated that the UPND Administration has managed to provide free education as it is fundamental to changing the Zambian society.

The President is also impressed that Pope Francis is aware of the UPND Administration’s educational policy of offering free education for all.

He praised the Pope for progressive views of development of Africa and Zambia in particular.

On Unity, President Hichilema said his Government values unity in diversity and wants to unite the people for Zambia through equity and fair treatment for all.
