He says the government will ensure the medical personnel patient ratio is addressed through the employment of 11-thousand health workers.
Speaking when he toured Kabwata Clinic, President Hichilema who was responding to some of the concerns raised by Lusaka Provincial Health Director Consity Mwale, said issues of highlighted should be channeled to the Ministry of Health so that they are addressed.
The Head of State however said government is grateful for the services the clinic continues to provide for the people in Kabwata constituency.
President Hichilema who walked and engaged Kabwata residents to woo votes for the party’s candidate Andrew Tayengwa brought some parts of the constituency to stand still, as many people wanted to either catch a glimpse of him or get a selfie.
And Dr. Mwale said Kabwata Clinic has inadequate space and some of the staff at the health Institution are working on voluntary basis.
