NALOLO’S ARTHUR WINA HEALTH POST RECORDS 500 BIRTHS

The number of babies born at the Arthur Wina rural health facility in Nalolo has hit an all-time record of 500 live births in less than ten months.

Vice President INONGE WINA is elated that the mortality rate in the area has drastically fallen as a result of the initiative under the Arthur Wina Memorial Foundation.

The Foundation was formed to honor her freedom fighter husband ARTHUR WINA.

Mrs. WINA says this record can be attributed to the availability of a health facility in the area which has resulted in mothers walking shorter or no distance in order to give birth once in labour.

She says before the health facility, many mothers succumbed to illness and even death along the way but that it is not the case anymore.

Mrs. WINA, says President EDGAR LUNGU´s government has done more for Zambia´s health than any other government in the history of the country.
