GOVT EMPOWERING PEOPLE -SIKAZWE

Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe says Government through the Office of the Vice President has created Resettlement schemes to empower people with land for farming.

Mr. Sikazwe, who is Mpulungu Member of Parliament, says Government is determined to make Resettlement schemes attractive.

He said this shortly after inspecting works on the construction of a 1 by 2 classroom block at Norald Resettlement Scheme in Mpulungu District.

And parents in the area are happy with the construction of a classroom block.

Allan Simungala said children in the area used to travel long distance to access schools.

He has since appealed to government to upgrade the school from a community to a primary school so that it can go up to grade seven.
