80’s and 90’s Independence Party to Bestow Girl Child Education

Zambia’s 55th Independence eve comes down with the 80’s and 90’s party that will bring legendary local artists to uplift girl child education and empowerment in the community. The party adorned by Zambia’s renowned artists Izrael, K’ Millian, Nalu and DJ Vjeezy hosted by Cleo Ice Queen on 23rd October in Lusaka Twin Palm, celebrates Zambia’s 55 years of freedom integrating the country’s milestone to support and build a reliable future for the girl child through increased literacy.
Through buying tickets and attending the 80’s and 90’s Independence Party, individuals will help in making education universally accessible to girls as a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Divine Mercy Home to uplift the girl child. Zambia literacy rate stands at about 54%. To improve the literacy rates, Zambia has adopted sustainable development goals aimed at guiding development until 2030.
The Independence Party through fun and excitement affirms Zambia’s freedom and contribution to society. A Blue Rain event in partnership with Party Poppers will create a great outdoor ambience to get your feet tapping to the groove. The party will be held on Wednesday 23rd October, time 16hrs at Triangle Services 23B along Twin Palm road.
Entry fee for ordinary is K100 and VIP K250, come dressed in your 80’s and 90’s outfit.
Those seeking to quench their thirst and have a bite; a variety of food will be available from food vendorsand drinks from non-alcoholic to alcoholic at various cash bars at the venue.
