All is set for the Patriotic Front -PF- Copperbelt Provincial conference which opens tomorrow in Kitwe.
And PF Secretary General Davies Mwila says the party has demonstrated that it upholds democratic tenets.
Mr. Mwila says the party is looking for leadership that will grow the party on the Copperbelt which its stronghold.
He told ZNBC news in Kitwe that the PF has continues to be attractive going by the number of people that are contesting for various positions in the elections.
And PF Copperbelt outgoing Chairperson Steven Kainga said the party on the Copperbelt is intact.
He has urged those that will be elected to continue working hard and support the leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
And PF chairman for elections Yamfwa Mukanga is happy that the Copperbelt elections are peaceful.
Mr. Mukanga also disclosed that the central committee will on January 5th select a candidate for the Sesheke parliamentary by- election.
President Lungu is this afternoon expected on the Copperbelt to open the PF Copperbelt conference tomorrow.
