Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has observed that the year 2016 has been full of ‘shadow boxing’ between the ruling Patriotic Front and opposition United Party for National Development (UPND).
Dr. Ng’oma says this is because the two political parties were confrontational towards each other.
Dr. Ng’oma says despite the country witnessing pockets of political violence, the people generally conducted themselves peacefully.
And the Political Scientist is impressed with President Edgar Lungu’s zeal to curb corruption in the country.
He says the Head of State is aware that the fight against corruption is key if the country is to see massive development.
